Welcome to Cedar Way Circus Arts and Tumbling Squad (CCATS)! Introduced to our school by our PE teacher Kyle Gray, this unique program is one of a kind! We are thrilled to introduce you to our exciting program designed to inspire and empower kindergarten through sixth-grade students through the exhilarating world of circus arts and tumbling.
Throughout the school year, CCATS offers a dynamic curriculum integrated into both Physical Education classes and a before-school program. Students are introduced to a wide range of skills, including tumbling, globe-walking, pogo-sticking, unicycling, jump roping, juggling, and various combinations of these disciplines. Our aim is to not only teach these skills but also to foster a sense of confidence, teamwork, and creativity in every participant.
In PE classes, students have the opportunity to explore and practice these skills at their own pace, discovering their interests and strengths. For those who feel ready to take their talents to the next level, we offer the opportunity to audition for our performance group. This group meets regularly throughout the year, refining their abilities and preparing for an unforgettable end-of-year showcase.

As the school year draws to a close, the performance group comes together to rehearse segments of the final performance. It's a collaborative effort where students from different grade levels and backgrounds unite to create a spectacular show of acrobatics set to music. This culminating event is not only a celebration of their hard work and dedication but also a testament to the power of teamwork and creativity.
