ABOUT US

Our Mission Statement

Cedar Way PTO supports the highest goals of the school, bridging the gap between the school and parents, unifying the community to further the development of our children and contribute to the public greater good.

Cedar Way PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) provides support to Cedar Way Elementary through organizing student activities, fundraising, volunteers, student programs, and more.  We provide valuable volunteering and fundraising opportunities engaging parents, teachers, staff, community members, and local organizations in building our school and enriching the educational experiences of our children.

We are made up and run by people just like you. At Cedar Way every parent, guardian, or other adult standing in loco parentis with an enrolled student at the school may be a member and has voting rights. The principal and any teacher or staff employed at the school may be a member and has voting rights. There are no dues or applications, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in our meetings and activities.

Our meetings take place in the Cedar Way Elementary Library from 6:30-7:30 p.m. We can also be found via Zoom. The first meeting of the 2023-2024 school year will be on September 20th.
