About MLT 5K Fun Run & Walk

 

It’s back! The Mountlake Terrace 5K Fun Run & Walk!

Enjoy being active? Participating in local events? Giving back to your community? You can do all three at the annual MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk. This event is part of the annual Tour de Terrace summer festival.

 

The MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 23rd. The course is a 5K, starting and ending at Mountlake Terrace High School (21804 44th Ave W). The route winds through the local neighborhoods and a woodsy trail in Terrace Creek Park. The terrain is good for families with jogging strollers, the young, the old, and even the competitive.

The race is hosted by the Cedar Way Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. Proceeds benefit Cedar Way Elementary students, as well as students at Mountlake Terrace Elementary, Brier Elementary, and Terrace Park Elementary. Over the past several years, the MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk has raised thousands of dollars for student activities, like field trips and assemblies, as well as materials for school art, music, library, and physical education programs.  

​

In addition to a great workout, all participants have a chance to win a raffle prize from our community sponsors. The MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk is only possible through the support of our local community, businesses, and family sponsors. 

 

Registration is $30 for adults, $15 for youths, and includes the MLT 5k Fun Run & Walk t-shirt.

 

 

 

Register by July 1st to reserve your t-shirt. Registrants after July 1st will have the option to pick up a t-shirt at the event, supplies permitting. Registration will be available at Tour de Terrace and the day of the race for $30 for an adult and $15 for youth. Don’t miss out on the fun! Sign up today!
